Because we are social distancing, I picked up her shears without even having to see or speak directly to her.
First step was to thoroughly clean and disinfect her shears.
I then checked her shears, and I found some nicks in her beautiful Hikari blades.
If I was with her at her salon, I would show her the blades. But since we are being mindful of keeping proper distance, I simply sent her a picture, and let her know I would still be able to make them perfect.
I gave her shears the "sanek test", and you can see that this beautiful Hikari shear really needed to be sharp-now(tm)!
My forty step process brought her shear back to factory perfect sharpeness. I took a video of her shear after sharpening, it is very sharp now. I sent the video to her...
Time to send the videos to my client! Because we are doing this sharpening in a time of social distancing, but I still want to make sure my stylist sees how wonderful her shears are when I am finished, I sent her these videos to show how her shears are performing after sharpening.
As always, she is very pleased with the results.
You will be pleased too....
This is a great opportunity to get all your shears in working order, even the ones you don't use all the time.
